Haruka dan Yuu sudah berteman sejak lama, selalu duduk bersebelahan di kelas sejak masa SMP. Namun, di hari pertama SMA mereka dibuat kaget ketika pengaturan tempat duduk baru justru menempatkan mereka di sisi kelas yang berseberangan. Tak mau jarak mengubah kedekatan mereka, keduanya pun bertekad melakukan sesuatu yang “istimewa” untuk mengikat persahabatan itu selamanya. Keputusan sederhana itu ternyata memicu perasaan yang sama sekali baru, membuat hubungan mereka perlahan bergeser dari sekadar sahabat.
