Musim kedua Sengoku Basara kembali mengobarkan era Sengoku dengan para panglima perang terkuat Jepang yang bergerak memimpin pasukan raksasa demi satu tujuan: mendominasi segalanya. Dengan senjata-senjata gila dan kekuatan yang seolah menantang alam, mereka menerjang medan tempur di atas kuda yang melesat kencang, menebas musuh dengan gaya bertarung yang tak masuk akal namun memukau. Dari senapan yang meledak-ledak hingga pedang sebesar manusia, dari benteng tempur bergerak hingga serangan yang membakar habis lawan, pertempuran berlangsung tanpa ampun. Di tengah serbuan ninja dan samurai, kesetiaan mulai retak, aliansi baru terbentuk, dan batas antara pahlawan serta penakluk kian kabur. Inilah perang, dan hanya yang terkuat yang akan dikenang.
